"Missionaries R Us: Are We Called to be Apostles?" Pastor Chris Dyer speaking. We may not all be called to be pastors, prophets or teachers, but what about missionaries? The word “apostle” means “sent one”; have we all been sent on by God to be missionaries to the world? If so, what does that mean?
"Missionaries R Us: The Impact of a Missional Church" Pastor Chris Dyer speaking. What does it mean to be “missional” and what is a “missional church”? What does it look like and do? How does it impact the world in which it lives? Using scriptures and dynamic examples Pastor Chris will tell us how a missional church can turn an upside down world right-side up!
"5 Things Christianity Has That You Cannot Find in Any Other Faith" Special guest, Fox 8 news anchor Bill Martin, speaking. Along with this thought provoking message, Bill will use pictures from his recent trip to the Holy Land. Bill is not only an educated Christian newsman; he also holds a Master of Arts degree in Pastoral Counseling and serves on staff at a church in the Cleveland area. Come and hear this man of God talk about the validity of the Christian faith! One service only at 10:00 a.m.
As a follow up to Bill Martin’s Open House message, we will begin a new series entitled, “When Jesus Calls…” This will be a series of 7 messages. Each message will be simple; consisting of one major point and a few sub-points. Our plan is to keep them to 20-30 minutes in length. This is to keep the “point” deep, understandable, intimate, and more conversational. By looking at the topics in this series you will see that we cover a lot of ground – one point at a time. We are going to include some brief testimonies and interviews with congregants, too. This will be a great series for Christians and non-Christians alike. Good things are happening at LifeSpring!
The first in a message series entitled, "When Jesus Calls..." The "Good" Life Pastor Chris Dyer speaking We hear people talk about “the good life”. But what is the good life, and why is it so important to find it? Life, and even religion, can leave us pretty weary, but Jesus defines the good life for us and calls us to live it!
The second in a message series entitled, "When Jesus Calls..." The "Surrendered" Life Pastor Chris Dyer speaking Jesus calls us to what we might call “the surrendered life”. This sounds very negative to some people, but He helps us understand what it means to surrender to God, and how positive this is for our lives. When Jesus called His disciples, they surrendered their old lives and went on a journey of unimaginable proportions.
The third in a message series entitled, "When Jesus Calls..." The "Turn-Around" Life Pastor Chris Dyer speaking Sometimes we just need to experience a drastic change in life – even some Christians need to experience a big “turn around”. Jesus calls us to turn things around when we are heading in the wrong direction.
The fourth in a message series entitled, "When Jesus Calls..." The "Over-flowing" Life Pastor Kevin Haddix speaking Jesus talks about a “spring of life” within us, and told us that He came that we might have life to the fullest. How can we find this life?
The fifth in a message series entitled, "When Jesus Calls..." The "Radical" Life Pastor Chris Dyer speaking God works in radical ways and calls us to do radical things! When was the last time you answered God’s call to be a person of radical faith?
The sixth in a message series entitled, "When Jesus Calls..." The "Big" Life Pastor Chris Dyer speaking Jesus said His followers would do greater thngs than He did. Wow! Is that possible? If so, what does it mean, and how do we answer His call to the "Big Life"?
The seventh in a message series entitled, "When Jesus Calls..." The "Servant" Life Pastor Chris Dyer speaking If we want to be great in the Kingdom of God, we must answer Jesus' call to service. To be a servant does not sound glamorous, but to Jesus it is everything. He came as a servant and demonstrated the attitude all through His ministry.

The first in a new four part series entitled the "Vision Series". "Becoming a Church of Purpose" Pastor Chris Dyer speaking LifeSpring is a unique body of believers with a specific place and purpose in God’s kingdom. In this message we will answer the “what’s” and “why’s” of LifeSpring!
The second in a new four part series entitled the "Vision Series". "Becoming a Church of Impact" Pastor Chris Dyer speaking Check our Matthew5:13-16! The church is supposed to make a big difference in the world around it! Is LifeSpring doing that? There is a big difference between reputation and impact! The community may know we are here, but are we doing anything to make an impact? In this message we will talk about the vision God has given the leadership so that He can make us a church of impact!
The third in a new four part series entitled the "Vision Series". "Becoming a Church Without Barriers" Can LifeSpring make a difference around the world? You bet we can! In this service we will enjoy a guest speaker, Jenny Webb. Jenny is a Missionary to Australia. As the church moves outside of its walls to impact the community, we also need to make sure we are doing something to impact other communities and lands!
The fourth in a new four part series entitled the "Vision Series". "Becoming a Church of Action" Pastor Chris Dyer speaking In the previous messages of this month we have talked about big visions and big plans. All the things God desires can be accomplished by His grace and OUR willingness to be people of action! We can leave our building and do nothing, or we can decide to be “doers” in God’s kingdom. What can you do? What will you do?
Just in time for Valentine's Day! Part 1 in a three week series entitled "A Marriage Made in Heaven". "The Romantic Side of God" Pastor Chris Dyer speaking We all know that God loves us, but did you know that God is “romantic”? His relationship with the church is depicted in a very romantic way, in which we see the church as the Bride and Jesus as the heroic Groom. In this message we will dig deep into Jesus’ love for His Bride, the church.
Part 2 in a three week series entitled "A Marriage Made in Heaven". "Here Comes the Groom?" Pastor Chris Dyer speaking It is a fact that we will all meet Christ some day, but did you know that one day Jesus will return to take His Bride to heaven with Him? Difficult times in this world will always provoke thoughts about the second coming of Christ. In this message Pastor Chris will look at verses that help us understand the facts about the second coming and the events leading up to it.
Part 3 in a three week series entitled "A Marriage Made in Heaven". "Getting Ready for the Wedding" Pastor Chris Dyer speaking We really cannot predict when Jesus will return, but He did give us specific directions for wedding preparation. In this message Pastor Chris will talk about what Christians need to do to make sure they are ready for the arrival of the Groom! Cool stuff!
On this Sunday, our District Superintendent, Pastor Jeff Mansell will be sharing the message during our worship time. One service only at 10:00 a.m.
The first in a message series entitled, "Jesus: Man of Action" "Mercy-It's more than, 'I forgive you.'" Pastor Chris Dyer speaking Sometimes it is easy to say, "I forgive you," but mercy goes beyond forgiveness. Jesus teaches and shows us that mercy is more about helping others start over and rebuild. How can we be people of mercy?
The second in a message series entitled, "Jesus: Man of Action" "Worship - It's more than music." Pastor Kevin Haddix speaking Don't you just love the emotion a great song brings to you? Jesus explained that it was more than music. Jesus shows us how to be true worshippers. What does worship mean to you?
The third in a message series entitled, "Jesus: Man of Action" "Integrity - It's more than good works." Pastor Chris Dyer speaking What does it mean to be a person of integrity? Jesus was the ultimate man of integrity. His words and actions prove His moral standings. Do your words and actions share the same message?
"Christ in the Passover" A presentation by Jews for Jesus. This will be a powerful service! Most of us have only a vague knowledge concerning the connection of ancient Judaism to our current Christianity. Knowing and having an understanding about your roots as a Christian can serve as a catalyst to strenghten your faith in Christ. After all, Jesus was a Jew... "Christ in the Passover shows the link between the ancient Festival of Redemption and Christ as the Lamb of God— your church members will never forget it! This sermonic demonstration is visual, so the congregation will actually see a table set with traditional Passover items. The missionary uses Scripture as well as the visual items to walk through a Jewish Passover seder, weaving the story of the Exodus together with the life, death and resurrection of Christ. The words He spoke in the upper room come alive as each Hebraic item is carefully explained. Many churches finish this powerful presentation by celebrating communion, and most who have tell us that Christ in the Passover has deepened their church's communion experience." Click here to
learn more about Jews for Jesus. One unity service at 10:00 a.m.
The fourth in a message series entitled, "Jesus: Man of Action" "Community - It's more than 'My Circle.'" Pastor Chris Dyer speaking Sometimes our idea of community becomes small and ingrown. Jesus taught us to reach out. Jesus showed us the vast expanse of His community by reaching out to people of every age and race. Who is in your circle?
The fifth in a message series entitled, "Jesus: Man of Action" "It's more than good times." Pastor Chris Dyer speaking It is easy to be devoted in good times, but what about the rough patches? Jesus taught us about his devotion. Even greater is the devotion Jesus showed us. How devoted are you? Communion will be celebrated during this service.
The sixth in a message series entitled, "Jesus: Man of Action" "Easter - It's more than a religious holiday." Pastor Chris Dyer speaking When people think about Easter they think about bunnies, eggs, nice weather, spring break, and yes... church. Would you be surprised to learn that the ancient Christian church celebrated Jesus' resurrection every Sunday? In fact, it was celebrated every day! Easter is more than a religious holiday. Join us and discover why it is one of the most important days of the year! One unity service at 10:00 a.m.
The seventh in a message series entitled, "Jesus: Man of Action" 9:00 a.m. service - "Witness - It's more than a bumper sticker." Pastor Chris Dyer speaking We share our witness in all different types of ways. While on earth, Jesus taught and set the example of what it means to witness. Even the last thing Jesus told us to do was go make disciples. What type of witness are you? 11:00 a.m. service - Awana Awards

"Loving the Unlovable" Pastor Chris Dyer speaking Loving people who are hard to love is a real task! Yet, God has called us to love everyone. What does it mean to love the unlovable? How can we do this and why should we do it? Is it worth the effort?
Mother's Day "Doing the Undoable" Pastor Chris Dyer speaking Happy Mother’s Day! Being a mother (or parent) is a daunting task! There are times when it is so difficult that it seems almost impossible! There are many things in life that may seem undoable, and yet the Apostle Paul said we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength. Is this true? If so, how does it happen?
"Living with the Unacceptable" Pastor Chris Dyer speaking Things happen that are unacceptable. Divorce, disease, and death are just a few of the things that we may endure in this life. Does God have a plan? What would be His reason? When it’s our turn to endure the unacceptable, how will we do it?
"Giving to the Ungrateful" Pastor Chris Dyer speaking Have a great Memorial Day! When we see people from our older generations, it is likely that some of them served in the Armed Forces during a major war – are we thankful for their sacrifices? Life is filled with people who are seemingly ungrateful. At the very heart of Christianity is the issue of “giving”. Why do we give? How should we give? Do we have to give to people who are ungrateful? We will celebrate Communion during these services.
"Forgiving the Unforgivable" Pastor Kevin Haddix speaking Has someone wronged you so badly that you have not been able to forgive them? Maybe you find it impossible to forgive people who do things that are unholy or embrace sinful ways of living? When we fail to forgive others it is detrimental to our spiritual, emotional, and even physical well-being. But how do we forgive the people who have hurt us the most – especially if they do care if they are forgiven?
"What's the Big Deal About Prayer?" Pastor Chris Dyer speaking We always talk about prayer in the church! For many, prayer seems like a meaningless ritual, yet Jesus (and Paul) taught us to pray consistently and with perseverance. Why is prayer important for us? Does God really answer our prayers? How can we pray effectively?
"Why Do We Call the Bible the Word of God?" Pastor Chris Dyer speaking Is the Bible just a book of myths and fairy tales? Why do some people call it “The Word of God”? If it is God’s word, where did it come from and how powerful is it? Christians should study and practically apply the teachings of the Bible to every day life. In this message we will discuss why and how this can be done.
Father's Day - "Why Does the Church Celebrate Communion?" Pastor Chris Dyer speaking On Father’s Day we are called to honor the good men and fathers in our lives. It is also a good time to focus upon the ultimate Father! During Communion we celebrate Jesus’ sacrifice and the radical love of the Father who desired to save us!
"Why Do We Need to Fellowship with Other Christians?" Pastor Chris Dyer speaking The Bible consistently encourages God’s people to worship, pray, work and fellowship together. Why is it so important for us to spend time with each other, and why does it seem so difficult to do?
"Worship Services Are Just a Meaningless Traditional Habit, Right?" Pastor Kevin Haddix speaking Since the conception of the Christian church, believers have met together for worship, prayer, and the study of God's word. Some people feel that attending the weekly worship gathering is just meaningless tradition. Is this really the case? Does the Bible say anything about it? If so, what kind of importance is attached to it?
"Does God Really Expect for Me to Witness to People About My Faith?" Pastor Chris Dyer speaking Sharing our faith with others can be a real challenge! Sometimes we simply don't know how to do it. There are times when we fear rejection or even persecution. We don't want to come on too strong, we don't want to be offensive, and we don't want to be rejected or harassed. Do we really need to do the "witnessing" thing? If so, why?
"Isn't Baptism All That's Needed to Go to Heaven?" Pastor Chris Dyer speaking Many churches espouse different views on the meaning of baptism. Is baptism essential for salvation? Do we need to be baptized using a certain method? Does water wash away our sins? Is baptism a tradition, a religious ritual, an ordinance, or a sacrament? And what on earth does all that mean? Some people were baptized as infants and they are trusting on that baptism to get them to heaven. In this message, Pastor Chris will explain what the Bible says about baptism and why is is so important in the Christian faith.
"Why Do Churches Talk About Stewardship" Pastor Kevin Haddix speaking What on earth is this "stewardship" stuff? Is it a money issue? Some say, "All the church wants is my money!" We've heard this countless times! Yet, stewardship is far more than a giving issue. God desires for us to find all He has for us in this life, and stewardship is one of the great Christian disciplines which will get us to that point!
"The Problem with Wealth" Pastor Chris Dyer speaking People say that money is the root of evil – but that is not what the Bible tells us. In the Bible we read that the “love” of money is the root of evil. Wealth can be a good thing when God is in control of it, but what happens when He isn’t? And, what do we do when wealth (or even the lack of it) becomes a problem?

Yet, relationships is also one of the number one problems in our culture. What does God say about healthy relationships? We will celebrate Communion during this service.
"The Problem with Independence" Pastor Kevin Haddix speaking We want our children to grow up and become “independent,” right? Everyone has always told us that we need to be independent rather than dependent or co-dependent. But is it possible to become too independent? And how does God fit into our agenda of independence?

"Failure is Not Final!" While we attempt to rebuild and remodel our lives, it is inevitable that we will make mistakes, and some may be costly. Today's world has the wrong perception of Christians, but who has created this problem? We have! I believe this is a powerful tool used by Satan. He uses this sort of entrapment to keep us from discovering the highest potential God has in store for us. If we rely on the perception of the world, then we are destined to a life of destruction. But, if we can break from this perception then we can start today to live a life that frees us from the power of sin and gives us the freedom to serve our living God! Pastor Brian Seeley speaking

"The Don'ts of Christianity: Don't Live in Defeat!" Too many Christians are living defeated lives! If the devil is defeating us in one area alone--that's too many! God has given victory to His children through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. But, it's up to us to allow God to do His work. What do we need to do to live in victory? This message will help answer that question. Pastor Chris Dyer speaking
"The Don'ts of Christianity: Don't Live in Bondage!" Jesus came to set the captives free! Now, what does that mean? Does that only refer to freedom from sin? The scriptures talk to us about freedom from sin, despair, regret, sorrow, sickness, and many other forms of bondage. What does real freedom look like, and how do we find it? Pastor Chris Dyer speaking
"The Don'ts of Christianity: Don't Be a Hypocrite!" What is hypocrisy, and how serious is it? What does God think about hypocritical people? How does hypocrisy effect the hypocrite and the people under his/her influence? When we repent of hypocrisy, our world is turned upside down (or I guess we should say "right-side up")! Pastor Chris Dyer speaking
"The Don'ts of Christianity: Don't Miss God's Best!" Some of us are living far away from where God desires. When that transpires, it's all too obvious. But, it's also possible to live a "good" life when you can find "better," or even the "best"! Have you found God's best for your life? Why do many of us settle for less than God's best? Pastor Chris Dyer speaking
"Keeping Step: Effectively Walking in God's Light" Do you ever feel like you're tripping up in your walk with Christ? Do you truly have a relationship in the first place? We'll examine the "steps" we need to take to know that we're effectively walking in God's light. Pastor Mark Leist speaking
"Extravagant Community: Fueled by Fellowship" (Acts 2:41-47) The church has been called to become something we call a "spiritual community". In this message, we'll learn about this community and how it is fueled by true fellowship between Christ-followers. Pastor Chris Dyer speaking
"Extravagant Community: Grounded Through Spiritual Growth" (Acts 2:41-47) Fellowship is just one of the important pieces in the building of extravagant community. The church is the Body of Christ, and it is different from any other organization on the planet! The difference is found in our growing relationship with Jesus. We must grow in our relationships with one another, but everything we do will be weak and superficial without growth in our relationship with the Head of the Body. Pastor Kevin Haddix speaking
"Extravagant Community: Multiplying Missionality" (Acts 2:41-47) The last element in extravagant community is missionality. In every community there must be service to one another and service to those outside of the community. A community is attractive to those on the outside if there is genuine concern for the members and true passion to bring others into the fellowship. Pastor Chris Dyer speaking
"Radical Christianity: Greater Faith" Jesus said that if we have the faith of a grain of mustard seed we can move mountains. Sound radical? What does it mean to have "great" faith? How does it work in everyday living? Pastor Chris Dyer speaking
"Radical Christianity: Passionate Prayer" Do you get tired of saying canned, repetitive prayers which seem to reach no higher than the ceiling of the room you're in when you pray? If prayer really works, shouldn't we be passionate about it? What happens when Christians become passionate about prayer? Pastor Chris Dyer speaking
"Radical Christianity: Unstoppable Missionality" We've talked a great deal about missionality. Are you asking why? In this message, we'll learn the absolute bottom line on the importance of missionality and why it should be unstoppable in the church. Pastor Chris Dyer speaking

"Stop Praying!" It's obvious that prayer is an essential part of the walk of faith, but are there times when we need to shut up, look around and listen? In our quest to know God, we need to learn to be quiet and look for His glory and majesty. When we see and hear God, we will be overwhelmed by His presence and holy nature. Pastor Chris Dyer speaking
"Crazy Love" God is crazy about you! It may sound insane, but God loves weak, frail, undeserving humanity. Have you discovered the crazy love of God? Do you wonder how God could love you?Pastor Chris Dyer speaking
"Serving Leftovers to a Holy God" We may not mind leftovers from the fridge, but would we want to serve them to company, or to an important guest? Would we give leftovers to the God of all creation? Many of us give God what's left instead of what's best, yet, God has given His best and deserves ours! Pastor Kevin Haddix speaking
"Profile of the Obsessed" How do people act when they really love someone? What does it mean to be obsessed with God; to love Him without limit? How does that kind of love impact God, our walk with Him, and the people around us? Pastor Chris Dyer speaking
First Sunday of Advent Advent Candle, Communion and Praise Service
(Second Sunday of Advent) "Defining the Scrooge Complex" It seems that the main character in The Christmas Carol is a man named Ebenezer Scrooge. We know him as a crabby old miser, but we also know there was more to Scrooge than what is portrayed by that initial impression. Some of us may be more like Scrooge than we think!Pastor Chris Dyer speaking
(Third Sunday of Advent) "Busting the Ghosts from Christmas' Past) Are you haunted by bad memories created by your own mistakes or through the harsh troubles of life? Some of us hate the Christmas season, whether we verbalize it or not! In this message we'll do a little ghost busting! How do we escape the things that haunt us and often take the joy out of this beautiful holiday? Pastor Chris Dyer speaking
(Fourth Sunday of Advent) "God Bless Us Everyone?" Tiny Tim
was a young boy suffering from a crippling disease, yet his
resilient spirit and optimistic heart gave birth to the most
revered quote of Dicken's Christmas Carol: "God bless
us everyone." Is that your prayer and desire? If so, have
you taken the time to define what that statement really means? Children's Christmas Pageant Please plan to join us for a very special evening Christmas celebration, featuring our children. Time TBA.

Family Christmas Eve Service 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Join us for a candlelight Communion service, filled with traditional and contemporary Christmas music and a brief devotional.
"The Christmas of Today Will Change the Christmas of Tomorrow" Scrooge was ultimately changed. It is important to realize the depth of his change and how he impacted everyone around him. His actions changed horrible holidays to come into happy, fulfilling days which made everyone's life better. What we do today will impact people for years to come. We cannot change the past, but we have an opportunity to change today and tomorrow.

"Let's Define a 'Win'" As a church how do we define a "win"? There are many good things that happen at LifeSpring--too many to enumerate--but, is a "win" paying off a debt, a good Sunday morning offering, or a successful event? How would God define a "win"? Pastor Chris Dyer speaking
"Developing a Winning Strategy" "The reason most people never attain their goals is that they don't define them, learn about them, or even consider them believable or achievable. Winners can tell you where they are going, what they plan to do along the way, and who will be sharing the adventure with them." (American motivational speaker and author, Denis Waitley)Pastor Chris Dyer speaking
"Developing a Winning Culture" What are people looking for when they come into a church these days? An atmosphere of grace, love and acceptance! Jesus made it clear in John 13:35 that the ultimate hallmark of our lives and of His church is love. What does the unchurched world see in our church? Unfortunately, most of us are so used to the way things are that we can't see the way things should be!" Pastor Kevin Haddix speaking
"Winning As An Away Team" Rapidly growing churches refuse to limit their ministry focus to what can happen in church buildings or on church property. We cannot afford to sacrifice excellence during the worship celebration, but we can't afford to stay in the church and stay away from the unchurched world. Pastor Chris Dyer speaking
"What Does It Mean to Have a Winning Personality?" A winning church will take risks, exercises faith, and demonstrates courage. It's a church who will follow God even when it seems ridiculous. It's a church that understands what it takes to win the lost and pursues that goal courageously. It's a church that kills the "it's all about me" attitude and will not allow the cynics to thwart God's plan. It's a church which believes in the plans God reveals and will not back down. Pastor Chris Dyer speaking

"Greater Works Than These?" Can we do greater things than Jesus did during His earthly ministry? He told us that we can! What did He mean and what does this have to do with the topic of resurrection life?Pastor Kevin Haddix speaking
"Die to Live" To consistently experience the resurrection life, we need to learn to surrender our lives to Christ. We must die to live! As John the Baptist said, "He must become greater and I must become less and less." John 3:30 Pastor Kevin Haddix speaking
"A Love to Die For" Resurrection living is completed in love. As Christ loved us and died for us, we are called to sacrificially love others.Pastor Chris Dyer speaking

"What Does the Bible Say About Heaven?" The Bible is filled with information about the place we call Heaven. Unfortunately, professing Christians have been impacted by a myriad of cultural thoughts, secular influences and religions other than Christianity. The Bible is our most reliable source of Christian information. What does it say about Heaven, and how does that impact the way we live? Pastor Chris Dyer speaking
Mother's Day: "What is Jesus Doing in Heaven?" So, following the resurrection, Jesus spent some time teaching His followers and then He ascended into Heaven. |
"How Do We Know Heaven Really Exists?" Why do we believe in Heaven? Are there ways to actually research the reality of eternal life and this place we call Heaven? The Judeo-Christian faith has been immovable on the belief of the human soul and eternal existence. From the Old Testament to the New, we see words describing God's eternal residence and His people residing with Him after death. Can we be sure? Pastor Chris Dyer speaking
"Choosing Your Eternal Destination!" Will everyone eventually go to Heaven? Are there other eternal destinations? If we want to go to Heaven, how do we get there? Do we just pray a little prayer and God will say, "Aww, okay! Just come on in!" Or, does the Bible outline other expectations? We want to look at what God says about choosing our eternal destination and then, we all need to make the choice. Pastor Kevin Haddix speaking
